Giant Rainbow Cookie and Tots Workshop Review – Series 1

Hey everyone! 🌈👋 Guess what? I went to my very first workshop with Picnic in the Park and it was soooo much fun! Let me tell you all about it! 🎉

So, on Saturday 25th of November 2023, my mom took me to this awesome workshop for kids under 5 at 3pm. I was super excited because we were going to decorate a GIANT rainbow cookie! Can you imagine? 😍🍪

When we got there, Mom said the directions video from Picnic in the Park was easy peasy! We parked our car and there it was, right in front of the duck pond. Oh, and let me tell you, they had the cutest checkered tablecloths and little pillows to sit on. They really know how to make it cozy! 💖

We walked up to the workshop area and a lovely lady greeted us. She told us all about what we were going to do and made us feel super welcome. Mom said goodbye and went to sit curb side on a picnic blanket she brought. Oh, did I mention we ordered some yummy snack boxes online before we came? They handed it right to us! 😋🎁

I couldn’t wait, so I opened my snack box straight away. Inside, there were mini savory snacks that were yum yum, a super chocolatey brownie, and a juice box. Oh, it was such a treat! 🤤🍫🥪

Then, it was finally 3pm, and all us tots went to the loooong table. We each had our own cute pillow to sit on, and guess what was waiting for us? A HUGE rainbow cookie! And all the colors of the rainbow in piping bags plus some magic dust they said we could eat. How cool is that? 🌈✨

They even gave us aprons to wear, and then we were told we can start decorating. I couldn’t help but sneak some tastes as I made my giant rainbow look super duper pretty! When I finished, I sprinkled some magic dust all over it. Then my creation was put in a box, and I joined Mom on our picnic blanket to enjoy the rest of my snacks. It was like a party in my tummy! 🎉🍪🌟

Afterward, we went to see the duck pond and I even spotted some cute squirrels. We played at the park nearby before heading home. I had the best time ever! 😄

For those seeking a ladies-only outing, we have a dedicated Ladies Picnic Day. Additionally, for those approaching retirement, we hold elegant High Tea in the Park events. And let’s not forget about our exciting Guys Super Hero 3D Art in the Park workshop!

Join us for our Slime Kids Workshop and get ready for a hands-on and slimy adventure! Upon arrival, the kids will receive their workshop kits and our expert host will guide them in making their own unique slime from scratch.
